Editorial Policy/Process

     
  1. All authors in a manuscripts (MS) submitted for publication in Agrobios Newsletter should be the Subscriber of ABNL and their subscription period should be valid at the time of publishing of article.

  3. Only one article of a subscriber either as a main author or as a co-author could be register in a month in both the systems (Free or Fast Track System)
  4.  
  5. MS must be original and contribute substantially to the advancement of agriculture and biological science knowledge.
  6.  
  7. Papers found unsuitable in terms of the overall requirements of the magazine will be treated as rejected and notified to the authors.
  8.  
  9. Articles will be notified to the authors for acceptance, need for revision paper.
  10.  
  11. It may be noted that papers once rejected cannot be resubmitted.
  12.  
  13. Illustrations and other materials to be reproduced from other publications must be properly credited; it is the authors responsibility to obtain permission for reproduction of figures, tables, etc. from published sources (copies of letters of permission should be sent to the editor).

  15. MS should have unpublished data and should not be more than TWO years old; and not submitted elsewhere (wholly or in part) for publication.

  17. The MS should be written in Standard English. The authors should ensure that the language and grammar of the MS is correct.

  19. Research Paper and Review Papers MS are subjected to ‘peer review by two experts in the relevant field and by the members of Editorial Board. The decision of Chief Editor in accepting the MS with major/minor revision or rejecting the paper would be final.

  29. Well -presented articles are given priority

  31. There should not be more than three authors of one article. However, there may be four or maximum five authors, if the article is on an inter-sectoral package.

  33. Name(s) of author(s), Complete postal address(es) of affiliations.

  35. Complete correspondence address including e-mail address of authors should be provided.

  39. Units in metric system; full forms of all abbreviations used in table; source of data should be given in detail. Units of measurement, symbols and standard abbreviations should conform to those recommended by the International Union of Biochemistry (IUB) and the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). Metric measurements are preferred, and dosages should be expressed entirely in metric units (SI units). In exceptional circumstances, others may be used, provided they are consistent.
